Abstract

Related to the problem of the rock mass, regardless of the theoretical analysis of the engineering practice, the need to determine the rock mass as a continuous medium or isolated block system is essentially different from both. With rock mass in fractured rock blocks degree is the basic nature of the rock mass itself is also an important basis for determining what rock mass structure. The fissure is a dominant factor in the decision the pluton block degree, the geometric parameters of the fractured rock mass blocks degree will produce different effects. Under simplified conditions, three sets of mutually orthogonal disc fractured structure of the rock mass in the fissures cutting trap rock mass can form a small piece of the critical condition of the body is fractured diameter of at least spacing of 2 times. Block percentage (B) of this indicator is defined as a numerical measure of the degree of rock mass block. In the case study, according to the ISRM the ductility and spacing of cracks given grading standards, selected 35 having a the different fissures diameter (D) and spacing (S) of the rock mass, with a block identification GeneralBlock software. Soil mechanics in numerical analysis results are used to analyze the soil particle size distribution of the grading curve to the introduction of the concept of the rock block volume curve calculation, and used in conjunction with the percentage of the block, better The analysis of the rock mass blocks degree. Each pluton Model B value is calculated in accordance with the given B value calculation formula. According to each rock B values ??with the respective fissures D and S relation analysis, fitting the B and D and S as a function of the relationship piecewise function in the D and S ratio is greater than or equal to 2, the functional relationship formula for the constant negative exponential distribution, B is zero in less than 2:00. In the the rock modeling process, the model range to select leads to the problem of the rock mass characterization unit (REV). A basic problem in fractured rock REV research is also rock mechanics and rock mass structure, and a new method to determine the rock mass REV B value. REV rock mass fissure D and S sensitivity, so 35 in fractured rock, no not sensitive factor to consider REV, but S multiple pluton REV. Small pieces of the body by removing the human factors in the model and the calculation process, and repeatedly calculated to remove or reduce the error. Finally, the paper proposes a new method of divided rock mass type, ie: indexing based on the value of B and the block volume curve corresponding value divided rock types. This new division of the rock mass non-agglomerated in the rock mass, mild block of rock mass, moderate blocky rock mass and bulk rock. The standards of this article 35 kinds of rock mass classification, 35 kinds of rock mass is almost non-lump of rock mass and lump of rock mass, mild lump of rock mass, only three cases of moderate block shape of the rock mass.
