Abstract

Background: most of Budd-Chiari syndrome by hepatic vein opening of the inferior vena cava diaphragm caused a small number caused by hepatic vein diaphragm . Our hospital for this state of affairs , the right of patients to take cavity - atrial shunt treatment , made ??good therapeutic effect . Objective: To investigate the inferior vena cava - right atrium artificial arteries recent clinical efficacy of the shunt in the treatment of Budd-Chiari syndrome . Subjects and methods : from May 2009 to March 2010 , the People's Hospital of Henan Province hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery cavity implementation of the the 21 Ming Bujia syndrome admitted - Housing artificial vascular bypass , in which five men , 16 women , average age 40.6 ± 7.0 years (range 26 to 56 years old) . Lower limbs and abdominal varices evaluation All patients underwent preoperative ultrasonography and electronic gastroscopy or upper gastrointestinal barium meal examination , line cavity - room bypass after 3 days , 6 days, 9, 14 days of liver function , two weeks after review electronic gastroscopy or upper gastrointestinal barium meal , after two weeks , one month , two months later , color Doppler ultrasound and liver function . Results: The group of 20 patients was discharged after three weeks , cases of large pleural effusion indwelling pleural drainage tube was discharged after 3 months, died of respiratory failure . After 3 days , 6 days compared with the preoperative liver function is poor, increase in transaminases, bilirubin significant , nine days after 14 days compared with the preoperative liver function , the difference was not statistically significant . Two weeks after the review the concept of six cases of esophageal varices indicators improved. Followed for 2 months ultrasonography artificial patency compared with preoperative liver function deterioration . Subjective assessment of body surface varicose veins situation improves . Conclusion: by clinical observation , application chamber - room bypass in the treatment of membranous obstruction or stenosis patients with active treatment significance may curb further deterioration of liver function in patients with the lower extremities and abdominal wall varicose veins and inferior vena cava hypertension symptoms can ease The symptoms of portal hypertension such as esophageal varices varicose also given a partial remission , recent significant effect . We recommend the implementation of this technique are considered eligible for surgical patients , symptoms improved significantly , the disadvantages are trauma , artificial blood vessels term patency rate is not high .
