Abstract

[Objective] idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (idopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, ITP) and Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) infection linked to observe whether Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy helps to enhance platelet count. Helicobacter pylori stool antigen stool analysis (helicobacter pylori stool antigen, HpSA) detection and diagnosis of adult and pediatric patients are symptoms of Helicobacter pylori infection. [Method] The selected into the screening criteria and exclusion criteria, select the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province, Department of Hematology, Children's Hospital of Kunming, within three subjects from February 2008 to November 2008 between the diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura patients 41 cases; normal control group of 40 patients, both the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province, Department of Gastroenterology, the First People's Hospital of Kunming Department of Gastroenterology outpatient, endoscopy and gastrointestinal symptoms due to blood tests but no obvious abnormalities. Using Helicobacter pylori stool antigen (HpSA) quickly seized immune diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection by card. 23 cases of Helicobacter pylori-positive idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in patients with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, while the addition of anti-Helicobacter pylori therapy, Helicobacter pylori stool antigen negative] 7 cases; 41 patients with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in patients with Helicobacter pylori stool antigen-negative control group, 18 patients to the negative of the 17 patients in the control group after treatment compared to the number of platelets. 120 patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms, adults and children of all 60 cases, from March 2008 to November 2008 between Kunming and the surrounding area due to the treatment of patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms 120 cases; 60 patients were selected from the adult section of Yunnan Province a People's Hospital, Department of Gastroenterology, First People's Hospital of Kunming. 60 patients were selected from a group of children in Kunming Children's Hospital; using Helicobacter pylori stool antigen (HpSA) quickly seized immune diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection by card. [Results] idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura group and normal control group, the positive rate of H. pylori infection was 56.10%, respectively (23/41), 35.0% (14/40), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, Helicobacter pylori group positive bacteria was significantly higher (P lt; 0.05). 23 cases of Helicobacter pylori-positive idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in patients with anti-Helicobacter pylori treatment, negative in 17 cases, not negative in 6 cases, negative in 17 patients and the control group after 4-8 weeks of treatment platelet count the difference was statistically significant, platelet count recovery after eradication of Helicobacter pylori significantly. Anti-Helicobacter pylori therapy 4-8 weeks after stool antigen, platelet count, there are 17 cases of H. pylori infection became negative 4-8 weeks after the 17 cases of platelet count [(81.50 ± 8.56) × 109, L] than before treatment [(23.86 ± 9.43) × 109 / L] was significantly higher (t = 2.983, P lt; 0.01), and platelet count with the control group after treatment [(68.50 ± 13.37) × 109 / L] compared difference was statistically significant (t = 2.431, P lt; 0.05). But not to cure Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with platelet count did not change significantly. Using Helicobacter pylori stool antigen (HpSA) immunization cards quickly seized infection by Helicobacter pylori diagnostic results to determine effective 120 cases, 0 ineffective. Adult patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms, children's groups are symptoms of H. pylori infection rate was 38.3% (23/60), 18.3% (11/60); two populations are symptoms of H. pylori infection there was a significant difference ( P lt; 0.05). [Conclusion] idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in patients with H. pylori infection were higher than normal, positive for Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy given to help enhance the platelet count for idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura patients routinely Helicobacter pylori. Helicobacter pylori in patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms are symptoms of infection than adult children (P lt; 0.05); Helicobacter pylori stool antigen test as a non-invasive diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection by method, has kind of simple, easy, easy overlap characteristics.
