Abstract


With the rapid development of network information technology , intelligent remote teaching system more and more attention . Remote teaching system is a comprehensive issue involving multi- discipline . This paper studies the application of data mining technology in distance learning system , to enable distance learning system , the organization has targeted teaching content according to their specific situation . The main content of the paper include: 1) summarized the development of distance learning system at home and abroad , and the guiding role of the intelligent tutoring system analysis and study the theory of constructivism aimed to further improve the system , and from the intelligent and teaching angle to improve the usefulness of the system ; 2 ) intelligent tutoring system related paper gives a brief introduction to the basic theory of intelligent remote teaching system in the field of knowledge library modules , student module , teacher module and human-machine interface module , knowledge of the key technologies of intelligent tutoring system design methods and knowledge base framework introduced ; 3 ) to discuss the concept of data mining , data mining process , task , commonly used methods and characteristics ; 4 ) details C4.5 data mining algorithms and intelligent tutoring systems , draw on the course of the decision tree , which for the student elective guiding significance .
