Abstract


With the rapid development of computer technology and the improvement of education level of information technology, online examination system is demonstrating its broad prospect. However, due to the quality of work online examination system constrained by the network environment is enormous, especially large-scale online examination system often present network congestion and so on.At present the emerging AJAX technology has the unique superiority in the improvement existing on-line test system’s performance, uses the AJAX technology the asynchronous transmission data and the partial refurbishing characteristic, may, in does not renew under the entire page’s premise the service data, then uses for to solve in on-line test system common field data processing not nimble, the client side speed of response to be slow, the test time cannot real-time present and so on questions in the client side.This system is based on B/S Architecture, the use of AJAX technology to achieve real-time answers to the examination process in the preservation, examination countdown, without refreshing features such as the questions presented so as to enhance the performance of an online examination system, followed by research test paper of several commonly used algorithms, and the combination of this system test database structure and the examination questions are not a huge number of features, using the improved random algorithm to achieve the automatic test paper test database. Question of the automatic grading and then conducted a study to achieve an objective question of the automatic grading, and also achieved for the subjective question of automatic and manual Preliminary Evaluation Marking the two methods. Finally take full account of the examination system security issues, thus providing a highly interactive and high-responsive online examination system.Based on AJAX technology, the online examination system can be offered to administrators and candidates a more fluid interface. Item bank and the candidates in the administrators to manage information more convenient operation; in question when the candidates pumping faster, and reduce the burden on the server; the candidates answer, you can automatically save the answer, avoiding the end of the examination, all candidates to submit papers to the server at the same time to bring the blocking phenomenon. But in practice the improved test paper results show that the algorithm is simple, practical, in the test paper test paper quality, speed and also has reached the standard required.
