Abstract


The rapid development of Web Service technology has brought new development opportunities for the application of WebGIS . The traditional the WebGIS application due to the performance limitations of various single structure mainly provide geographic data service functions , and the geo - processing functions such as desktop systems , such as spatial analysis capabilities to provide users with few . Web-based geoprocessing services , user-friendly spatial analysis functions need , without restrictions by the GIS platform , location . The geoprocessing service real WebGIS from data sharing to the evolution of functional Sharing provides an opportunity to provide new solutions to the problems of traditional WebGIS . ArcGIS Server is a server-based GIS software platform for building Web applications .
