Abstract


With the rapid development of national economy, the constructions of various infrastructure facilities advanced greatly. Thus, the project management has beenbecoming one of the most important procedures in the process of national economicaldevelopment. The level of management of each project not only affects theconstruction of the project itself, but also influences the development of regionaleconomy society directly. As a result, rational and scientific means must be applied tothe project management in the process of the project construction. This thesis willfocus on the Jinhu Bridge Expansion Project, making a research on its projectmanagement.The Jinhu Bridge Expansion Project(JHBEP), an important engineeringproject, is implemented to meet the needs of the construction of Jiangsu arterialhighway network, the requests of the regional economic society, the demands of theregional transportation development and the needs of flood-control anddisaster-combat. Firstly, the thesis will analyze the necessity and feasibility of theimplementation of the project management, define the goal and basic ideas of theproject management and design the organizational structure of the projectmanagement on the basis of the introduction of the bridge’s basic situation andconstruction plans. Further, the thesis will study the process management and the quality management of JHBEP. In the aspect of process management, the thesis will analyze the factors that influence the process of JinhuBridge, draw up the schedule of the item and discuss the method of process control. Inthe aspect of quality management, it will select the ways of quality control, design thequality guarantee system of the implementation of the project, analyze the keyinfluential factors of the project quality, and make up the quality control plan of theproject. Then it will determine the quality of cement beam with the mathematical statistics and the quality of pile foundation with the reflection method. In the aspect ofsafety management, it will define the goal; responsibility system and safety guaranteesystem, discuss the related technical guarantee measures and evaluate the safetymanagement with the grading coefficient.
