Abstract


The economic function of government is an important part of the functions of the government system , for a country the efficiency of resource allocation and economic development have a significant impact . Especially in the current environment of the global economic crisis , countries in order to get out of the shadow of the crisis , economic recovery , but also depends on the government's economic functions scientific and efficient play . However , the economic functions of our government is not perfect , there are functions of positioning is not accurate, the macro-control is not in place , still too much micro-interventions . Therefore, on the basis of the inspection of domestic and foreign government economic function theory to explore the premise of the functions of the government's economic problems and the reasons , the current Chinese government economic function \Defined both the functional content of the trade-offs , such as discarded micro - control , to join the international economic functions according to the needs of the new situation and to encourage scientific and technological innovation functions ; , but specific and a function of scientific operations , such as the current measures to build the system of national economic security recommendations to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor . Defined after the government's economic functions include nine areas , namely: macroeconomic regulation and control ; curb monopoly ; properly handle economic externalities ; provision of public goods and services ; solve information asymmetry ; improve the market system ; strengthen international economic functions ; encourage scientific and technological innovation ; narrow the gap between rich and poor . This thesis is in the process of writing the use of deductive and inductive method , case analysis and normative analysis method , and access to a large number of documents , as well as some of the latest examples of data . The results of this study in a sense, the theory of the government's economic functions is a rich China as soon as possible out of the current economic crisis , economic recovery has a certain significance , while the transformation of government functions , economic and political reform , building a harmonious society , service-oriented government , innovation-oriented country also has some reference value .
