Abstract


In the context of financial globalization , Chinese banks must go through the process of international development . After December 2006 , China 's financial market will be fully open to foreign banks faced filed into the room , to accelerate the process of internationalization of Chinese banks has become a major development strategy. In this paper, the background of the liberalization of trade in financial services , comprehensive discussion on the theory of international banks for the internationalization of Chinese banks to provide a theoretical support through overseas development banks in the current situation , to explore Chinese banks exist in the process of internationalization problems, and draw some inspiration. In fact, in addition to the Bank of China began very early international development strategy, and to establish a global banking network system, other Chinese banks only in recent years that look to the international market, overseas expansion. Banks from the point of view of overseas expansion mode , cross-border mergers and acquisitions in recent years become the dominant approach, which in Chinese banks ability to integrate and offshore management capabilities with a great challenge. The 2008 financial crisis hit the entire international financial markets , but also on the ability of banks' risk management has put forward higher requirements. At the same time , the crisis but also for Chinese banks to create a good opportunity for overseas expansion , Chinese banks should grasp the opportunity , take advantage of favorable external conditions to improve their overall strength, to become truly international big banks .
