Abstract


This thesis gives an introduction of the development of electronic commerce at home, especially in the field of civil aviation ticket sales and has further discussed the development background and the current status of China Eastern electronic commerce strategy.The websites dealing on-line air ticket sales can be divided into the following categories: portal websites of airways, Online Travel Agent, Online Travel Agent (OTA) and comprehensive e-commerce web site with Taobao as representative. According to the investigation, all the above websites provide no service on unattended ticket refund, reschedule and upgrading before the system I propose is developed, which is more automatic and more efficient.This thesis analyzed the process of online booking system, and also introduced the process of after service including refund, reschedule, upgrading, endorsement and query on flight movement information. The automatic characteristic of online booking system has been utilized to design systematic business process and unified web service interface. External system could successfully offer online booking and after-service of China Eastern by using defined and unified web service interface.This thesis tried to make the online ticket business abstract and designed the following five interfaces: query interface, booking the flight reservation interface, canceling the order or reservation interface, billing interface and confirmation of the payment interface. This thesis also makes the after-service process of online booking abstract and designed the following nine interfaces: query on the rules of refund and rates interface, refund application interface, query on the refund application interface, query on the rules of reschedule and upgrading interface, calculating the cost of reschedule and upgrading interface, reschedule and upgrading operation interface, gaining the air ticket interface, confirmation of price difference interface, and query on flight movement information interface. The usage of cache in the above interface and the new design of business process contribute to avoidance of interface transfer failure caused by network communication and repetitious transfer, and thus further guaranteed high performance, high availability and reliability of interface.The system this thesis has introduced is an indispensable part of electronic commerce strategy of China Eastern. It is the cornerstone of B2G ,the electronic business website of China Eastern, and also the web service platform used by Taobao flagship store of China Eastern and the ticket sales website of ZEC.
