Abstract


With the development of market internationalization and increasing of customer re-quirement, traditional production lots mode is turning to variant small lots production mode. More and more plants produce by make to order mode. Because of MTO mode production, long cycle time of design with high cost and low quality become bottleneck of winning the market for company. Product modeling technology is developing with CAD technology ap-pears. Product model is becoming more important with processing of industry informatization. MTO mode is different from production-lots mode constitutionally. So research to product design method in MTO mode is very important for reducing product life cycle and promoting market competition in company.ERP software is used in many companies for promoting productivity and competition and makes they feel its strong function and helpfulness. Managers begin to bring out more requirements for software appliance not only know it and use it. They want to optimize busi-ness flow through ERP to make company running more efficiently and business data more accurate after ERP go online. So they begin to do it and let software serves for company in-stead of company following it.What this paper reached is shown as below:1) Analyze and research the common defects on material management in supply chain busi-ness flow. Introduce the reason why it still occurs that the business cannot run fluently in Rittal after SAP go online and analyze it. It is pointed that there is the place where enter-prise use SAP system to manage the one-time purchasing material management under MTO model and its benefits and defects on business running.2) Draw the solution according to enterprise material management. Aiming to the current situation of one-time purchasing material management and associating with variant con-figuration material management which has already existed in SAP, design a optimized solution which can reduce operators’workloads and data from SAP system to accelerate the system running.3) Implement the optimized solution in SAP system. Follow ASAP method which commonly used in SAP, we make referred Brue Prints to build overall business frame. It is neces-sary to make a very important workshop about switching the business in order to avoid affecting current business and existed historical data resulting in producing more risks and we should do our best to reduce extra workload. After that, we customize referred con-figuration and data in the SAP system and use ABAP to develop some programs for re-ducing operators’workloads.4) At last, we do the tests and verify the new material management system and check the influence on current system between before and after implementation to make sure it works normally, reduce workloads, shorten supply chain cycle and promote business efficiency in enterprise.
