With the increasing acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, migrant workers have become the main force of China's industrial workers, they make a significant contribution to China's development, but has remained at the margins of society and the underlying. Due to the large number of young migrant workers to stay in rural areas the majority of women, children and the elderly, the formation of a special \Left-behind parents of missing dependencies, the left-behind children lack of care, lack of love left behind spouse, rural social development and stability has become a prominent problem. Therefore, to study the situation of migrant workers and their impact on health of farmers not only the larger academic significance, but also a certain social value. The purpose of this study is to describe the rural residents work outside the home position, and application of the General Health Questionnaire GHQ-12 and resident self-rated health to evaluate the level of health of the residents of the four counties to further explore the rural migrant workers and left behind the level of health of persons influencing factors, and propose appropriate measures to improve their health, to improve their quality of life, in order to provide the basis for the development of the floating population health policy. In this study, Sichuan Province Anyue, Cao County, Shandong Province, and Chi Ping, Anhui Linquan provinces four counties to investigate. According to the level of socio-economic development and geographical distribution of the sample counties, using stratified random sampling method, extraction survey 1810. The contents of the survey mainly includes: ① survey the basic situation of the family and members of the demographic characteristics; (2) go out to migrant workers wage; (3) investigate the health status of the object. In this study, the data analysis methods: (1) using factor analysis and other methods to test the reliability and validity of the GHQ-12 scale; the ② descriptive analysis of the demographic characteristics of migrant workers and working; (3) with a test, Chi-square test and rank sum test was used to compare the analysis of migrant workers and non-migrant workers (rear personnel and non-personnel left behind) the basic situation, social support and life satisfaction; ④ with rank-sum test and log-linear regression analysis migrant workers and non- migrant workers (left-behind personnel and non-personnel left) health disparities and influencing factors. The main results of this study: ① the GHQ-12 scale reliability and validity analysis, binary coefficients and Cronbach'sα coefficients were greater than 0.7, the scale reliability is better; factor analysis generated three factors and Scale The theoretical structure of the basic assumptions, scale validity. (2) migrant workers, the average age was 28.6 years old for men significantly more than women, and the majority of married people, the education mainly concentrated in the junior high school level, in 2005 the per capita net income of an average of 4,206 yuan. Wage information, nearly 80% of workers who choose outside the province, mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Zhejiang and other eastern coastal areas; continue for a longer working time, an average of about two and a half years; career of migrant workers mainly work in factories, construction and catering and other service industries, the monthly income mean $ 915; migrant workers to obtain wage information channels mainly for relatives / fellow choose to go out to improve the incomes and improve their lives. ③ migrant workers by young men the proportion of higher education and per capita net income is higher than the non-migrant workers, but the income satisfaction and life satisfaction is lower than the latter; higher age of the staff left behind, and The high proportion of women, education and life satisfaction are lower than the non-personnel left behind. Migrant workers, migrant workers and social support personnel left behind to get an impact. (4) health aspects: first, migrant workers, the self-rated health score did not differ significantly between the non-migrant workers, and the GHQ-12 scale score and anxiety / depression score 1.13 points and 0.75 points, respectively, higher than the latter, that is, the level of mental health of migrant workers is lower than non-migrant workers; multivariate analysis, exclude the interference of confounding factors, work outside the GHQ-12 scale scores and anxiety / depression score factors. Second, the staff left behind self-rated health score 2.68 points lower than non-staff left behind, GHQ-12 scale score and anxiety / depression scores than the latter were higher by 0.82 points and 0.67 points lower than, that the overall level of health of the staff left behind staff left behind; multivariate analysis found that in the exclude confounders interference, whether the staff left behind GHQ-12 scale scores and anxiety / depression score factors. Conclusions and recommendations: (1) increase the income of the farmers, the use of new rural construction and the opportunity to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas. (2) to strengthen the intervention of the psychological problems of migrant workers, improve their mental health. (3) to strengthen the building of the legal system, improve migrant workers health and social security system. (4) to develop the supporting measures to improve the health status of the staff left behind. (5) to take comprehensive measures of common concern for the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers, to improve their level of health.
