Abstract


Emily - Dickinson (1830-1886) was an American literary history's most famous poet, she and Whitman's poetry is considered to be a part of the Renaissance, is considered a pioneer in imagistic. Emily Dickinson in her poem, she imagined, metaphor, fantasy and other means constitutes a specific distinctive imagery can be perceived, their understanding of the poem to describe the feeling through the body, to make abstract concepts concrete. Research death from all angles, and expressed her true feelings.
