Abstract

In recent years , marked point motion capture technology has become a hot topic in the field of computer vision and computer graphics , has been widely applied in the field of computer animation , games , Stunt . Image sequence - based visual hull modeling techniques , free marker the point motion capture system , motion capture Extension to the convenience , higher security requirements of the sports simulation , medical rehabilitation , biomechanical analysis technology applications . Image silhouette information to reconstruct the original model of the object based on the visual image sequences shell technology is generally difficult due to the presence of two-dimensional images into three-dimensional space polysemy objects obscured occlusion mapping , however , from an image sequence restore objects three-dimensional model of information there are still many technical difficulties . To solve these problems , this paper proposes a new algorithm based on the visual hull of the image sequence generated to guarantee the stability and accuracy of the data , to further meet the needs of the motion capture data . The main work is as follows : 1 . Introduced summarizes typical in recent years , image - based modeling methods , and detailed description of the underlying theory of image-based modeling based on the visual image sequences shell technology research background and research purposes , knowledge. Proposed a new visual image sequence - based shell generation algorithm by weighted segment intersection linear filtering and line segments of the line segment collection center polygon detection method to calculate the object 's visual hull . The experiments show that the algorithm is high efficiency , robustness , and calculation results approaching the original model to meet the needs of motion capture data . Established the visual shell prototype system , validation and application of the system for visual hull reconstruction algorithm , reconstruction true . User through the various space operations , and interact with the system , three-dimensional modeling of objects .
