With the demand for software and the increasing size of software quality is becoming increasingly important . Software testing is the most important software quality solutions , test case generation is the most important aspects of software testing . Test case generation efficiency and will directly affect the software test results , the automation of test cases to generate a more detailed study , has a very important significance . Program slicing is a program decomposition techniques, into slices, and slices through decomposition program related studies so as to achieve the understanding of the whole program . Program slicing in software testing , debugging , maintenance and coding has an extremely wide range of uses . Dynamic slicing is a program slicing , this paper proposed an improved algorithm , through the control on the program 's actual execution path dependent and data dependent nodes , and can be reached on the basis of the existing theory of dynamic slicing algorithm statement given slice criteria dynamic slice is obtained , and by a specific instance of the algorithm for authentication , the experiments show that the resulting slices is effective . Subsequently, this dynamic slicing algorithm is applied to the automatic generation of test cases . The specific method is given the initial input and specify the path , first find the longest common prefix node given the actual implementation of the initial input path specified path , and then calculate the dynamic slice of the node , and run by constantly adjusting the input slice predicate function , making the program the nodes negated last until running path with the given path completely equal , you specify the path of the test case is generated . Finally, be demonstrated by actual test cases developed automated tools instance , the experiment showed that the automatic generation of test cases based on dynamic slicing technology is effective .
