Abstract

Free space optical communication (FSO) laser transmission medium , directional signal energy is concentrated , not with the frequency interference and the near -band crosstalk , but also as a physical layer transmission equipment , any of the existing transmission protocols such as TCP / IP can easily superimposed go . FSO has a high-bandwidth , strong anti-interference , easy to install , without frequency approval, and other advantages . FSO communication in the fog world , attenuation greater radio frequency communications (RF) bandwidth is low , but less susceptible to fog impact , it can be used as a backup link . The use of the different characteristics of the FSO and RF can be constructed with high reliability of the FSO / RF hybrid network system . In the hybrid network , how to achieve optimized routing algorithms and efficient link switch , which is of great reference value to the design and implementation of free space optical communication systems . In this paper , we first discuss the FSO network routing problems , four different routing algorithms , we will average delay as an assessment of the basic standard , and compare these algorithms by simulation , a load balancing feature the smallest jump number of routing algorithms (Minimum Hop Count With Load Balancing Routing Algorithm, MHLB). The algorithm of MHLB has the following characteristics : 1 . Considering traffic load balancing problem on a different path Secondly, Intro link adaptive double - switch model analysis of the ideal with a hop count limit the link switching condition , thereby ensuring high availability of the FSO / RF hybrid network . Finally, we MATLAB platform MHLB algorithm simulation results show that the the MHLB algorithm at an average amount of delay and packet loss rate is significantly better than other routing algorithms .
