Abstract


As China 's securities market special institutional context , the government and the listed companies are inextricably linked. For the government, listed companies as pillars of the regional economy , both from an economic point of view or from a political point of view has a very important significance governments at all levels to their different purposes inevitable to impose a variety of effects on listed companies , government regulation means the performance of listed companies will have an impact ? for listed companies , the economic environment in China and the current stock market situation next , each company is actively seeking resources and diversity showed different this paper from 2001 to 2003 listed companies as samples , the time span of 2001 to 1 January 2006 of December 31 , the effects of government regulation ? political association with the company after the IPO long-term performance relationship ? study found that , overall, government expenditure to GDP ratio and the long-term performance of IPO Companies negatively related government expenditure in the proportion of public security and listing expenses long-term performance of the company after the IPO positive correlation ; government control indicators for different types of long-term performance of the company have different effects effects ; different areas of economic development , local government control long-term performance of listed companies is not the same degree of influence , there is a big regional differences , and the eastern region of greater extent than central ? west ?
