Abstract


China is a country with a long history and splendid culture of ancient civilizations , the development has been 5000 years of history . Traditional elements of history is reflected in many areas . Ancient villages as a manifestation of social civilization , one of the precious wealth of mankind . Ancient villages scattered throughout the country , due to geographical and cultural differences , the richness of its traditions have been renowned. The ancient village has a beautiful natural environment , also has a distinctive vernacular architecture , they are reflected in the brilliant history and culture of the Chinese nation . Liancheng County , Fujian Province Peitian ancient village is a valuable cultural heritage of human settlements , the rapid economic development of modern society , so that Peitian traditional style of the ancient village of great impact protection . In order to get Peitian ancient villages sustainable use and sustainable development, and how to protect traditional culture Peitian ancient village has become an urgent problem . Peitian ancient village of traditional features and characteristics for the protection and sustainable development on the inheritance and development of western Fujian regional specialties has a broad meaning and value.
