Abstract


Population aging is the major social issues in 21st century. It is the main features of human development. China has been into the older-type countries since the beginning of this century. Not rich people have become increasingly prominent features of the old. At the same time, there are many the last century 50-80 years’building in urban residential areas. The population of older people is generally higher than 10%in these old residential areas. In the current socio-economic conditions, the old residential housing system in China is still an important part, so how to improve the living and quality of life of older persons in the context of the current pension model is extremely important in contently.In this paper, the author researched the old residential areas’typical living conditions for elderly people, Analyzed the domestic and foreign pension model and the transformation of the old residential areas cases. The author attempts to solve the old residential areas’pension issues. This paper take the background of our traditional culture and the old-age residential buildings as the form of clues. The author analyzes residential buildings the appropriate aging issues of Xi’an old residential areas between 50 years to 80 years. The author meets the various residential demands of the elderly living in combination of old physical, proposes renovation strategies from the layout of the residential area, outdoor space environment, the elderly living service facilities, residential construction and intelligent designs and so on. Than the monotonous’form of the determinant layout of the old residential areas is broken. The "Residential District-District-tour" three styles of the elderly people living outside space environments and the layout of service facilities are broken. The old residential area becomes a comfortable, safe, convenient and beautiful living environment. The endowment goal of " having provided for the elderly, treatment for the elderly, having been willing to the elderly, having taught for the elderly, having studied for the elderly, having done something for the elderly". Meanwhile, from the diversified pension model and a variety of transformation models, the solve policy measures about the pension problems and the resident participation model have been discussed.
