Abstract


Executives are important human capital for enterprises, as business decision makers, they play a decisive role in the development of the enterprises. Effective executives incentives can lead the interests of executives and enterprises owners in line, can improve enterprise performance and increase enterprise competitiveness. With the information of the executives of listed company public disclosure, executive incentive problem is increasingly getting the social attention.In this paper, the empirical study based on the disclosure of the relevant data of China’s A-share listed company in 2007-2009 years, using descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing method is to test the relationship between executives incentive of listed companies and enterprise performance.Through research, this paper concludes(1)Executive compensation and executive holdings are greatly different in different trade and different regional, trade and regional differences are important factor that affect executive compensation and the proportion of holding.(2)In listed company, the top three executive pay and corporate performance are linear correlation, and relationship between the two is significant; executive holdings and enterprise performance have no relevance;(3)Considering the factor of the size of listed companies, corporate capital structure, executive holdings, industry and region, It is found that in addition to executive pay and corporate performance present obvious positive correlation, there is a positive correlation between firm size and executive pay, capital structure has some negative correlation with executive pay, the equity ratio and free cash flow have prominent relevance with executive pay.
