Thesis literature , comparative research methods to study the theory of urban and rural development in small towns at home and abroad , to learn from the experience of developed small towns along the coast of the United States , Japan and Zhejiang urban and rural , and reference to provide experience for China 's small towns and rural development . Draw on relevant experience based on analysis of the obstacles of the urban and rural development of small and medium towns , and proposed the development of strategies , including the basic strategy and peripheral strategy . Fuling District of Chongqing as an example , a the Fuling current urban and rural development issues , from urban and rural residents' income , consumption and property , industrial structure , and social undertakings , and many urban and rural development from natural conditions , historical policy and industrial structure of Fuling imbalance influencing factors were analyzed . And Fuling District, the current status of urban and rural development have been reviewed. Fuling urban and rural development opportunities and conditions from the macro, meso and micro analysis of Fuling District, urban and rural development is proposed in this paper .
