Abstract

Objects:The epidemiological situation and the symptomatic distribution of urticaria should be deserved and the significance of the pathogenic factors of urticaria should be explored. What is more, according to the information that collected by the four examinations in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), investigation of urticaria syndrome differentiation should be taken. In addition, this may provide a better basis for urticaria syndrome differentiation in clinic.Methods:Epidemiological questionnaires have been made to collect the related information of the patients who suffered from urticaria All the patients were outpatients of dermatology department of Ghuang’an men hospital. Furthermore, the syndrome differentiation has been made for each patient under the guidance of my supervisor. Eventually, all the dates should be entered in SPSS 17.0 statistical software to make statistical analysis of pathogenic factors and urticaria syndrome differentiation after collecting all the cases.Results:The risk of female patients to develop urticaria is much higher, the course of the disease relatively is longer and the treatment is harder than male patients; 2.95% of the patients were in the course of more than 1 year; 3. There were 18 cases in history of drug allergy in all patients with urticaria, antibiotics such as penicillin are pathogenic factors that can induce urticaria; 4. 27% of the patients had family history of allergic diseases, such as urticaria, allergic rhinitis and eczema; 5.64% of the patients were taking antihistamines during the treatment, and symptoms are difficult to control; 6. The conditions of 96% patients are moderate to severe, only 4% of patients are mild; 7.49% of the patients have obvious inducements which can be divided into four sorts, such as physical factors, food and additives, mental factors and drug factors; 8. There was a circadian rhythm of nearly 69% of patients, and urticara occurred mainly at night, but there was no significant seasonal pattern; 9. The normal work and study of 79% patients was influenced by itch,43% of the patients had positive skin scratch disease; 10. Syndrome differentiation has been made among 100 patients. Concretely,31 cases,20 cases are exterior cold syndrome; 20 cases are exterior heart syndrome,15 cases are exterior deficiency syndrome, 3 cases are syndrome of dual deficiency of qi and blood,14 cases are syndrome of spreading wind-dampness-heat,14 cases are syndrome of spreading wind-dampness-heat,2 cases are spleen-stomach disharmony syndrome,2 cases are syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis,3 cases are syndrome of yin deficiency and internal heat.
