Abstract


Pelvic inflammatory disease are one of the most common diseases for women of childbearing age, inflammation often involving the uterus, oviducts, ovaries, and surrounding connective tissue, and can sweep stark peritoneal. The etiology is much due to sexually transmitted infections, postpartum, abortion and gynecologic surgery when the bacteria enter the wound infection incidence of illness. It may be confined to one location, some parts of, or the entire pelvic. If pelvic inflammatory disease has not been timely correct treatment, it will become a series of sequels, i.e. sequelae of pelvic inflammatory diseases, its clinical manifestations include ectopic pregnancy, infertility, chronic pelvic pain, and recurrent pelvic inflammatory disease. About one-tenth of gynecologic patient who came to clinic for medical treatment are those who with chronic pelvic pain symptoms. Chronic pelvic pain as one sequelae of pelvic inflammatory diseases, and usually it could hardly be thoroughly treatment. Patients with persistent physical poor course of disease, illness caused by a stubbornness, patients often bear stubborn pain and agony. Clinical performance always are long-term recurrent attacks of abdominal pain and swelling of the falling of the lumbosacral pain, it will get worse after fatigue or intercourse. It sometimes with low-grade fever, exhaustion, and neurasthenia symptoms such as sleepy and insomnia which hardly completely cured. It seriously harming women’s physical and mental health. In recent years the incidence of the disease is gradually rising trend. Western medicine for the treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease is to diminish the primary, anti-inflammatory, however pain-relieving effect was not obvious. The treatment of pain, sometimes needed to use analgesics, but this does not apply to long-term pain treatment. Relatively speaking, Chinese traditional medicine have an advantage in this place. In comparison with the regard to medicine in the treatment of substantial advantages, the author of this article lookup for nearly ten years documents and papers of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and chronic pelvic pain. And do system explains on the etiology of pelvic diseases caused by chronic pelvic pain pathogenesis, both relevance and clinical and other causes of chronic pelvic pain in the differential diagnosis of diseases. The author summarize through various treatment methods according to the pelvic diseases caused by the characteristics of chronic pelvic pain from the systemic treatment, local treatment and psychological treatment. and the summary on treatment experiences of my mentor, professor Liu. Hope to have a help on the future of clinical diagnosis, treatment, and the relevant scientific research.
