Abstract


Su Tong is a contemporary famous writer, in his 30 years of writing, he has written many excellent novels, his every novel can give readers fresh and new feelings, the description of South small town life is the largest number and the most distinctive.Recently the critical studies of Su Tong’s works are so many. For example:the theme of Su Tong’s novel; in the works of new historicism; transformation of Su Tong’s novel. Most of the critics was focused more on his long novels while his a large number of short stories contained in the marketplace is lack of attention to narrative style. Narrative in the marketplace between the significant role of Su Tong’s novel, this narrative on Su Tong’s novel of the marketplace to conduct a specific study.Articles by Su Tong Novels at narrative as a starting point on Su Tong’s novel of the comb and an overall study to review the content marketplace and the narrative flow as the starting point of Su Tong’s unique living space on the marketplace and his keen attention to narrative Marketplace reasons then combined with the background of writer identity and conduct in-depth discussion of its growth.Thesis has three parts:introduction, body and conclusion. Su Tong’s novels introduct outlines the current research and the purpose of this research, methods and significance. Body part is the focus of papers by three chapters:ChapterⅠcarding Marketplace narrative content and its cultural values. First described the formation and the concept of marketplace, and then leads to the development of narrative flow marketplace, pointing out that the concept of marketplace uncertainty of narrative and the richness and the marketplace of this unique living space contains a wealth of social, literary and historical value to as the theoretical support of this thesis and to explore cultural factors that create the far-reaching impact on Su Tong.ChapterⅡof the text into a specific narrative Su Tong’s novel text rendering marketplace. The chapters in the marketplace from Su Tong’s novel character and civic life philosophy and style three aspects of the marketplace to start on. Su Tong’s novel in two major types of characters:Youth and women, this thesis contains two types of people who analyze character traits and then explores the deep cultural significance. Fate is another characteristic of Su Tong’s works, thesis, combined with Su Tong Su Tong’s works analyze the underlying causes of Fatalism. Meanwhile, Su Tong’s works also for the reader the flavor of the South town of secular painting, as our understanding and evaluation of the South provides another basis. The third part of the complex as a starting point to a small town to explore the origin of Su Tong Civic Consciousness, mainly from the traditional culture, local culture and Writers psychological three chapters.Su Tong’s novel conclusion section will be placed in the street culture of contemporary literature in macro-historical context, that of Su Tong’s novel Pop narrative helps us understand the works of other writers of Pop Culture.
