Abstract


Du Jun,his coutersy name is Yu Huang,and assumed name is Cha cun.He was a famous scholar during the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty.He was born in Huanggang,Hu bei province and later moved to Jinling in the second year of Shunzhi Emperor( the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty,1644) in order to escape from the war.In the twelfth year of Congzhen Emperor,he became Gongsheng( a student who study in the best school in the Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty) Although he was poor,for his loyalty to the emperor of Ming Dynasty, he no longer serverd as official and became a recluse in the Qing Dynasty. He was a famous critic of poetry,prose,opera.Wu Weiye,a famous scholar in the same period,said that he imitated Du Jun’s Jin Jiao poems when he wrote his five character verse.However, Wu Weiye considerd the Jin Jiao Poems much better than his five character verse.Meanwhile, Du Jun was a famous critic of Li Yu’s novelsWu Sheng Opera and Shi Er Lou.He made good friends with many other famous scholars,such as Wang Shizhen,Gong Dingzi,Xing Fang,Wu Weiye,Jiang Yi,Wang YouDing,Mao Xiang,Cao Rong,Chen Weisong and so on. Du Jun died in the twenty sixth year of Kangxi( the secondt emperor of the Qing Dynasty,1662) in Yangzhou at the age of 77.The chronicle biography tries to collect the date of Du jun’s life and experience as well as related historical materials, in order to sort out, verify and make a textual research of them finally. The main studies are as follows:Ⅰ.Basically sorting the chronology of Du jun’s life and experience, and having made some explanations and proof reading about some non-detailed or ambiguous issues.Ⅱ.Making some collection and verification on Du jun’s social intercourse, and others related experience of his mentor and friends as well.Ⅲ.Making sure the time of writing of Du jun’s part work.The chronicle biography is divided into following two parts:Ⅰ.The common examples:Making some explanation toward examplications and principles of listing.Ⅱ.The chronicle biography:Making the chronicle by list Du jun’s life and experience, and writing the items following the outlines to make detail comments.
