Abstract


OGC (Open GIS Consortium is open Geospatial Consortium ) has been leading geospatial geospatial information standards and basic services. OGC has developed a series of geographic information sharing and reuse geographic operating specifications , and geographic information GIS spatial data sharing has been an important goal . With the development of distributed computing technology, interoperable technologies and Web Service ( network service ) technology developed, on the basis of GIS field appeared GI Service ( Geographic Information Services ) technology concept , making this goal implementation possible . Among them, the map service as a geographical data services have been widely studied and applied open. Currently , the network has appeared in various forms of map services , but because of its access interface differences , it is difficult to achieve its data sharing. And defined by OGC Web Map Service (WMS) specification developed a unified access interface , precisely to solve this problem. In view of this , the paper first describes the geographic information services and map services research background and development status , focused on the technical basis of geographic information services - network services, geographic information services and technical framework defined by OGC specification of geographic information services . Then for the most basic geographic information services - Map Service , studied the current network map service principle , difficult to share data for its problems , this paper studied the OGC 's geographic information services in a Web Map Service (WMS) principles and norms , and based on the OGC simple Feature access specification (SFA) was constructed geometric object model, based on the Visual Studio 2005 platform design and implementation of WMS , and on multiple platforms verify its effectiveness.
