Abstract


With the wide application of computers and networks , workflow technology has become an increasingly important technology in people's daily business processing . Workflow management system as a workflow technology software carrier , its main goal is by calling the information resources and human resources to coordinate all aspects of the business process , followed by the implementation of it in a certain order , in order to achieve business process automation . Workflow management system in most cases is running in a heterogeneous , autonomous , distributed complex environment , its accuracy and reliability constraints a key factor in the success or failure of the entire application software systems . Transaction support in the workflow management system is to ensure the system correctness and reliability of an important method . The concept of a transaction from the database research community for to solve concurrent access to data and error recovery issues , the transaction is introduced into the workflow system , one of the hotspots of workflow in recent years in the field of research . How to make the transaction processing technology and workflow technology combine to solve the problem of long transaction workflow , timely release system resources and improve the stability and reliability of the workflow system , it is the starting point of this study . Transaction and transaction processing in the workflow management system in-depth research , analysis and comparison of the different workflow system transaction concepts and traditional affairs , senior affairs , to clear the transaction need to be resolved in the workflow management system important and difficult . On the basis of analysis and comparison , a workflow model with transaction support , the long transaction workflow management system is split , and defines the concept of transaction compensation point and empty compensate for the sub-transactions . And the introduction of a set of transactions to resume execution mode, which according to the model of transactional semantics flexible and effective recovery processing failed . On the basis of these studies , a detailed analysis of the proposed transaction model and transaction management carried out a detailed design and implementation . And the development of a complete workflow management system . To change the teaching process , for example, carried out a detailed analysis of the effect of application of the model .
