Abstract


The shipping business is an important part of the transportation industry in China, is one of the basic industries in the development of China's national economy has important strategic significance. Ship transport is the basic production activities of the shipping companies, the source of the shipping business interests, today's shipping market is a mature market. The transport sector of the ship is a large investment, high risk, big profit industry, the increasingly fierce competition in the international shipping market, shipping companies are facing the situation of the international shipping market: rising fuel prices, port fees rise and repair The shipping cost increases led to a significant increase in vessel costs; no major change in the overall trend of the supply is greater than demand, the tariff is still in a weak state; lot of low-cost, nonunion ships will continue to invest in the shipping market; NVOCC large number among the shipping market to participate in the competition; convenient flag fleet growing, will become an important means of shipowners to reduce transportation costs; quality service to become the main means of market competition is becoming more and more accepted by shipowners and shippers. The shipping enterprises the market snatch heating, means to cut the main freight unit. Due to the lowered unit freight carriers profit margins are getting smaller and smaller, the need to reduce the cost of the operation of the ship in order to compensate for the decline in profit margins, so research voyage operations (especially fast voyage operating efficiency estimate based on the actual shipping business automatically generated voyage arrangements) is particularly necessary and urgent.
