Abstract

The microspheres are widely used in clinical medicine, microbiology and immunology, because of it’s characteristics of absorption quickly, flow smoothly and surfcae effect. Microsphere preparation technology have been paid attention by pharmacy field and become a hotsport. In recent years, Most of production equipments produce microspheres in millimeter magnitude of microspheres at home and abroad. In this work, we use ultrasonic crushing technology to prepare microspheres size in micrometers. There are some influence factors to microspheres size, like as the jet speed v, nozzle radius r, the fluid viscosityμand ultrasonic vibration, etc. These mainly works are to construct a theoretical model and to study key technologies of ultrasonic crushing granulation method. We establish a set of ultrasonic experimental device of microsphere preparation, that’s working: the mechanical vibrations are delivered to the liquid jet through the high-frequency ultrasonic transducer so that the jet break into uniform droplets and laterly condensed into micro-ball. The device are consist of ultrasonic transducers, ultrasonic power, nozzle, flow rate control system and carrier system components. It’s transducer’s resonant frequency is 20KHz, the output voltage and frequency of power supply are adjusted continuously. In addition, precision micro-gear pump have been used to control the jet velocity and design a nozzle which has a streamlined structure. Also mixing system and measurements device of microsphere have been built.Using the device to do a lot of granulation experiments and to analyze the linfluence effect what caused by the jet velocity v, nozzle radius r and fluid viscosityμin the process of microspheres preparation. Having obtained the most appropriate wavelength of breakup, the range of jet velocity and nozzle radius for the current experiment. In other ways, have analysis causes to form satellite microspheres with correspondence theory in-depth, to clarify the generation mechanism of satellite microspheres, and have simulateed process of jet fragmentation.
