Objective To investigate the surgical treatment of primary liver cancer after radical intrahepatic recurrence secondary indications , efficacy . Methods A retrospective analysis of 60 patients with primary liver cancer patients admitted to our hospital from 1997 to 2003 , 60 patients with initial diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma, radical resection . Intrahepatic recurrence , 30 cases secondary surgical treatment , 30 cases of intervention based treatment , compare the two treatment groups initial surgery and liver cancer prognosis related factors , the time of tumor recurrence and relapse of clinical stage ( including recurrence when the number of tumors , size , liver function and liver cirrhosis ) between the two groups was no significant difference ( P gt ; 0.05 ) Finally, compare the two treatment groups 1 year , 3-year , 5-year survival analysis of surgery and interventional treatment effect on prognosis . Results according to the follow-up of patients with recurrence in 60 cases of radical hepatectomy , with death as the end point, the survival rate was calculated by SPSS 13.0 software , surgical treatment group than in the PCI group, the tumor 1 year , 3 years , 5-year survival rate of more greatly improved . Respectively, the 1 -year survival rate of the surgery group was 78 % , 3-year survival rate was 34% , 5-year survival rate was 20% , median survival time was 31 months ; intervention group 1-year survival was 53% , 3-year survival rate was 28% 5-year survival rate of 14%, the median survival time of 15 months . Surgery group and intervention group P lt ; 0.05 ( T = 0.031 ) . Conclusion 1 through surgery and interventional treatment of primary liver cancer after radical intrahepatic recurrence prognosis after radical surgery for recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma indications for surgery , surgical excision is the treatment of choice , changed in the past on the recurrence of liver cancer to give up the concept of surgical treatment for advanced cancer . Through the improvement of preoperative examination, a clear recurrent liver cancer patients liver function , tumor size and the number of liver cirrhosis , a clear surgical indications . Preoperative examination and intraoperative reasonable operation , mainly local excision of recurrent tumors or irregular removal, to preserve as much of the normal liver tissue , to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications , so as to achieve cure cancer , improve the purpose of the prognosis . Secondary surgical treatment group than in the PCI group, the tumor 1 year , 3-year , 5-year survival is greatly improved .
