Objective: To investigate asymptomatic hepatitis B virus carriers mental health status and influencing factors in the general hospital outpatient department, Coping Styles and influencing factors between the two. Methods: From January 2007 to July 2007, the application of self general questionnaire, the Symptom Checklist SCL-90 and Shaw plan prepared by the Ways of Coping Questionnaire 300 cases of Infectious Diseases outpatient carry the hepatitis B virus The patients were investigated. Ways of Coping Questionnaire includes six subscales, namely to solve the problem, rationalization, help, self-blame, fantasy, retreat; symptom checklist including somatization, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobic, paranoid and psychotic nine factors, and in accordance with the criteria for the classification of the norm results, divided into light, medium and heavy three levels. Results: 1, SCL-90 results: SCL-90 score total score of 149.24 ± 46.08, mild psychological problems (score ≥ 160) 41 (13.7%), moderate psychological problems (score ≥ 200 points) and 25 (8.3%) had severe psychological problems (score ≥ 240 points) and 12 (4%), psychological problems overall detection rate of 26%.
