In this paper, agricultural waste corn cob (VC) as raw material, the use of microwave pretreatment of corn cob, reuse succinic anhydride modified synthesized by esterification with corncob (MC). Using SEM, IR and XPS VC and MC on microstructure and morphology were characterized by surface chemistry, and adsorption mechanism was discussed. The MC applies palladium metals in waste water treatment, through the static and dynamic experiments investigated MC wastewater Pd (Ⅱ) adsorption performance. At the same time, the MC of the reproduction performance. The results showed that microwave pretreatment method to succinic anhydride grafted its optimum conditions as follows: microwave power 800W condition 6 min, m (corn cob): m (succinic anhydride): V (pyridine) = 1:1.5:20 refluxed 60 min, saturated sodium bicarbonate solution soak 30 min. Improve the quality of the product percentage (WPG) was 41.4%. Combined with SEM, IR and XPS analysis, we can see through the modification allows corncob porous surface, loose structure is conducive to the adsorption of palladium ions. But its chemical structure has not changed, indicating that the process of modification will not cause corncob fiber structure broken away. The introduction of carboxyl groups, making content increased to 10.31% of the total content, indicating the successful coupling of succinic anhydride on the corn cob. During the inspection, wastewater MC Pd (Ⅱ) treatment effect, the establishment of a determination of Pd (Ⅱ) by Catalytic Kinetic photometric new methods. I.e. in a non-ionic surfactant Tween-20 in the presence of trace amounts of Pd (Ⅱ) isatin of K2S2O8 oxidation-reduction reaction with the oxidation catalytic obvious that the system response speed, sensitivity. The linear range of 8 × 10-4 ~ 1.28 × 10-2μg/mL, the detection limit is 5.3 × 10-9g / L, the apparent activation energy of the reaction catalyzed 53.92 KJ / mol. Static adsorption performance results showed that: Compared with VC, MC maximum adsorption capacity increased by 5.5-fold. Freundlich adsorption isotherm can describe the experimental data at different temperatures. Adsorption process in line with a dynamic model. By the adsorption thermodynamic parameters shows that the adsorption is spontaneous, endothermic and entropy increase process. Using single-bed downflow adsorption column adsorption unit, research MC palladium wastewater dynamic adsorption performance. Discover breakthrough curve depends strongly on the experimental conditions, among other conditions remain unchanged, the 'greater the velocity, the higher the concentration of imports, the less amount of adsorbent, the adsorbent bed beds can accelerate penetration, penetration time is shortened. The effects of the MC regeneration performance results show that the adsorbent regenerated by four times remain good adsorption performance.
