Abstract


Logistics demand analysis is a core problem in logistics planning. Following the development of CAFTA and the advance of the Pan-Beibu-Bay Economic Zone, the status of Guangxi as logistics channel and traffic hub will be more and more important. It’s necessary to analyze the characters of logistics demand of Guangxi.The development of logistics is effected by series of economic factors. Firstly, the author analyzed the situation of economic fields related to logistics, the problems and competitions from the outside in the process of development of logistics; the author also analyzed the opportunities and advantages to develop logistics. On the basis of these analyses, the author concluded the characters of the structure of logistics demand in Guangxi and then selected several economics index to construct model to forecast the scale of logistics demand. As the advance of regional economic corporation is one of the most important factors to prompt the development of logistics, the writer deeply analyzed the impact of the increase of bilateral trade volume and the improvement of the trade constitution between Guangxi and ASEAN on the structure and the scale of logistics demand of Guangxi.
