The western district of our country takes a more important part in national economy for its rich resources, large area, economy and technology basis. However, most of the western area is plateau terrain, whose characteristics are low air pressure, less air and oxygen, cold and dry, which are great blocks for exploiting resources. Aiming at plateau mine production hypoxia problems, this paper puts forward the artificial pressurization as the main measure of the ventilation to improve the overall environment for workers’work. According to the Bernoulli equation and roadway pressure curves, this paper discusses the artificial pressurization ventilation method and the feasibility analysis in theory; using Fluent software to simulate artificial pressurization ventilation systems, it analyzes and summarizes the simulation results to furtherly verify the feasibility of artificial pressurization ventilation; according to body parameters, it makes sure the aiming enviroment parameters; using similar laws of fans, it analyzes and summarizes the reason of plateau efficiency reducing problem of fan and motor, and suggests a plateau fan and motor parameters correction method and the design method of high pressure fan; it also analyzes influence of fan operating point and mine air leakage rate from high pressure mine air leakage, and gives air leakage control measures; according to the theoretical foundation of artificial ventilation and pressurization, it designs the Niangmute mine ventilation system, and summarizes a method of artificial pressurization effect analysis.
