Abstract


Discipline of geoscience is the core actor of geoscience development. And it is important for us to explore suitable disciplinary theory to accelerate the development of geoscience discipline. There is a neglectable fact that disciplinary theory is absence in the course of geoscience development. Since the Theory of Disciplinaity was proposed in 80’s of 20 century, it has just been used in social science field, which shows its limitation is obvious. Whehther can we establish a bridge between discipline of geoscience and the Theory of Disciplinaity in order to find a support for discipline of geoscience and widen the field of Theory of Disciplinaity? It is not only the beginning point, but also the ending point of this dissertation. This dissertation consists of six sections as preface, four special subject discussion and conclusion.First chapter is the Preface,which mainly introduces background of subject and writing significance about this dissertation, analyzes the current research related to the subject and main concepts involved in this dissertation and illuminates the outline and research methods.Second chapter analyzes the development of disciplinarity conception, which can be divided into three stages as former discipline stage, initiate stage and developing stage, discusses the development of disciplinarity connotation ,which has experienced three stages as origination stage, diversification stage and interdiscipline stage. Based on Analyzing the limitation of current research on disciplinarity, advances the Theory of Idea of Disciplinarity, which consists of disciplinary organization as its bridge, disciplinary institution as its core and disciplinary culture as its wing. Only by doing so can we improve the efficiency of produce of disciplinary knowledge and training of person with ability.Third chapter analyzes relations between Chinese geoscience naissance and disciplinarity according the history of Chinese geoscience development. Between middle and late 19 century and at beginning of 20 century, disciplinarity had been accepted by Chinese. The naissance of Chinese geoscience discipline is the inevitable result of disciplinarity, which experienced two stages as the introduction of names of geoscience discipline and the cuuriculum of geoscience discipline in University. The character of disciplinarity of Chinese geoscience discipline is very simple, which only used the tool of wirting, examination and score. That is the reason why Chinese geoscience discipline develops very slowly.Fourth chapter analyzs relation between development of modern geoscience discipline and disciplinarity, indicates the way of modern geoscience discipline development was forced by external power. Its only purpose is to train more and more person with ability, we can call it single track disciplinarity. The system of discipline hasn’t been established yet. This kind of displine has active effect on modern geoscience discipline development in early days, It not only meet the need of economy development, but also promote the differentiation and development of modern geoscience discipline. Whereas this method exsits neglectable short-comings, which has resulted in geoscience development into a dellema that excellent person don’t like to be enrolled of geoscience specialty and the graduate of geoscience specialty don’t like to do work related ot geoscience and lag of level of modern geoscience discipline. We can draw that the unperfect way of discipline is the main reason limiting our country development from a large geoscience country to a strong geoscience country.Fifth chapter discusses how to establish a paradigm of modern geoscience development derected by morden disciplinarity idea to help it out of the dellema. Geoscience disciplinary organization should be the logical start-point of modern geoscience development paradigm. Its development not only needs a nice environment provided by government, but also requires a disciplinary organization teem with reasonable structure. Geoscience disciplinary institution is the core of modern geoscience development paradigm, which ensures geoscience disciplinary organization to work efficiently. The establishment and perfection of geoscience disciplinary institution must obey the rule guided by academy. To begin with, we must reform the present discipline administration system to found a geoscience disciplinary admittance system lead by scholars. In the second place, we must establish a good system to promote produce of geoscience disciplinary knowledge and training of geoscience person with ablity to interact efficiently. At last, we must erect a geoscience disciplince appraising system which encourages knowledge innovation. Geoscience culture is the soil of geoscience disciplinary development, so it is a neglectable position to establish modern geoscience development paradigm. Only when we find a way which geoscience disciplinary organization works smoothly, geoscience disciplinary institution is effective and geoscience disciplinary culture is thriving and prosperous, can we realize development from a large geoscience country to a strong geoscience country, which will benefit to sustainable development for the whole worldSixth chapter is Conclusion section,which summarizes simply main contents and primary view,especially innovations and inadequacies about this dissertation.
