Abstract

The mountain , with its complex topography features and the diversity of habitats , creating a variety of vegetation types and complex ecosystem complex , therefore , the mountain is also traditionally home and abroad many scholars focus . In this paper, Helan Mountain , which is isolated from the desert sand , is the \. Determination by the plant community survey in 2006 and 2007 and their corresponding geospatial elements , Helan Mountain vegetation spatial differentiation law a preliminary study . Accordingly, the following results : Although mountain vegetation vertical zone spectrum changes as the altitude changes , but in the horizontal direction , from shallow mountain distance of the mountains due to the differences of the gradient of the water status the limit of vegetation vertical zone spectrum on the distribution of plant communities exist to reduce the phenomenon . Paper first proposed the concept of \) plant under a combination of water and heat gradient a gradient distribution ideal mode . Helan Mountain , especially shallow mountain foothills , ridges , slope term due to the unique characteristics of the terrain , the long-term water deficit , creating the Peak, the slope of the ridge has a special plant community types , showing mountain vegetation vertical zone spectrum inversion phenomenon .
