Abstract

Copper powder and superfine of BaTiO 3 powder as raw material, the use of mixed powder milling, cold forming, hot pressing process preparation of BaTiO 3 of / Cu composites; implementation of Cu 2 O-coated handle heterogeneous nucleation surface deposition process on the fine of BaTiO 3 powder was prepared the Cu to 2 O-coated the BaTiO 3 / Cu composite material. Using XRD, OM, SEM, EDS, XPS microstructure of the composites were; room temperature tensile, compression at room temperature to study the mechanical properties of the composite material, the fracture morphology were analyzed by SEM; using dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) the temperature damping characteristics of the composite, temperature storage modulus characteristics and strain damping characteristics were tested, and analyzes the different systems composite damping mechanism. Coated BaTiO BaTiO 3 / Cu and Cu 2 O / Cu composite SEM and EDS analysis showed that, when the BaTiO 3 ceramic particle content is low, the particle size distribution evenly dispersed, well-bonded interface, with increasing content, ceramic particles tend to be connected into a three-dimensional network structure; the Cu 2 O cladding wrap complete, Cladding no impurities, coated ceramic powder size is about 0.3 1 .5 m. BaTiO 3 / Cu composite material coated with Cu 2 O, when the lower ceramic content, improve the tensile strength increased with the ceramic content and improve; elongation with ceramic content increase the downward trend; increased compressive strength of the ceramic content decreased slightly, while the relative compression rate has dropped significantly. From the fracture morphology analysis, low ceramic content of the composite material has the characteristics of the local ductile fracture. BaTiO 3 / Cu composite temperature damping characteristics: in the room temperature 1 30 ° C, the internal friction of the material almost does not change with temperature over 130 ° C internal friction value dropped significantly, and low-frequency internal friction values ??and the temperature dependence of the more obvious; Cu 2 O coated BaTiO 3 / Cu composite temperature damping characteristics: internal friction values ??with increasing temperature first reduced, exceeds 120 ℃ substantial increase, and the damping properties improve with increasing frequency; both of the the strain damping characteristics are: With the increase in strain significantly improved damping. Piezoelectric ceramic / composite damping material existence of dislocation damping, interface damping, oxygen deficiency dissipation and piezoelectric - conductive dissipation mechanism. High ceramic content of BaTiO 3 / Cu and Cu 2 O-coated BaTiO 3 / Cu composites showed lack of stress-induced oxygen bit due to the proliferation of internal friction greatly. -Coated BaTiO Cu 2 O / Cu composite material, piezoelectric - conducting internal friction mechanism theoretical temperature damping characteristics and the real temperature damping characteristics of BaTiO below the Curie point, there is a better alignment and consistency proved piezoelectric - the conductive internal friction mechanism in the vicinity of room temperature the composite material, the internal friction mechanism.
