Abstract


Architecture and climate are closely linked , the building faces a variety of environmental factors , the climate plays a leading role, while building the body 's primary purpose is to exist to create a comfortable environment and adjust their artificial and natural climatic differences. Since many types of weather , especially in cold areas, low winter temperatures and long duration , and the general public building large body mass , function is relatively complex, the energy consumed is greater , so the design of public buildings , to full account of climatic factors influence the architectural form . In this paper, the construction of public buildings in cold areas form as the research object , first of all, research status at home and abroad as well as our 2005 new \significance ; Secondly, according to public buildings in cold areas affecting major climatic factors , summarized in cold areas of public buildings energy performance , behavioral characteristics and spatial trends allows us to shape public buildings in cold climatic adaptation of the concept of a certain cognition ; again, in accordance with the building form, form three spatial form and style , from the architectural form , orientation , space, materials and other cold regions to adapt the perspective of public buildings architectural form ; Finally, the paper pointed out that the relationship between architecture and the climate is essentially reflects the relationship between man and nature , should be cold design and architectural design patterns unify proposed form of public buildings in cold regions design principles and climate adaptation strategies , summed up in cold areas of public buildings suitable light , suitable for cold, proper snow , suitable for wind design. Papers in the large number of examples and comparative analysis presented in the form of climate adaptive design strategies to implement the overall design of the building , on the cusp of a comprehensive period of rapid development of China's construction industry has a direct significance for the exploration of new technologies under cold regions architecture development has made a useful attempt .
