Abstract

With the Three Gorges navigable ability of the increasing shipping efficiency increasingly significant the Three Gorges waters requires the use of more scientific and technological means to strengthen the process of supervision , improve the accident and the dangerous pre-control capabilities, and rapid response and processing power to ensure an increasingly busy Three Gorges navigable security . Complex topographic structure of the Three Gorges Dam , and after the completion of the Three Gorges Dam, the water level drop between the upstream and downstream of up to 113 meters , the passage of a vessel required to cross the water level drop by using a two-wire five passing through a permanent ship lock of the Three Gorges . Therefore, based on the characteristics of the Three Gorges Dam , the realization of the Digital Three Gorges ship gate holes of visualization applied research and system development , provide basic scene with technical support for three-dimensional figures of the Three Gorges Dam waterway construction . Realistic representation of the three-dimensional landscape of the Three Gorges Dam , while the ship gate holes of applications based on the real three-dimensional data , the main work of this paper the following aspects : (1 ) First select the use of sophisticated three-dimensional GIS technology , the completion of the Three Gorges Dam Area ( 100 square kilometers) of 3D virtual scene spatial data production, and the characteristics of the Three Gorges Dam , the gate holes of the three-dimensional model of the ship . ( 2 ) application of integrated application system based on the component technology ActiveB3D controls to achieve the three-dimensional GIS generated data from the fairway , processing, organization and management , visualization , analytical applications , and other aspects of the digital construction of the Three Gorges . Comprehensive application of three - dimensional GIS system ( 3 ) in a visual development environment Visual C ship Guozha function secondary development , combined with the figures of the Three Gorges and database construction , the first to achieve dynamic monitoring capabilities of the ship , and then combined with the ship lock set control database the ship can be synchronized with the two-dimensional electron path maps through the real-time dynamic monitoring of the permanent ship lock of the Three Gorges .
