Abstract


Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of clinical psychological consultation on the general hospital.Method 665 consultations for 608 cases of the departments of nonpsychosis provided by department of psychosis in general hospital from 2007-6-1 to 2007-12-31 were retrospectively analyzed. The aspects analyzed included the departments applying for consultations, the reasons for the applications, diagnoses and treatments for psychonosema, and obedience of medical orders. Results In the consultations cases, patients aged 6 to 87 -years-old. The average age was 51.80±15.72 years. Han Chinese accounted for 62.01 percent, 4.61 percent of Hui, Uygur accounted for 27.63 percent, accounting for 4.11 percent of Kazak, Mongolian accounted for 1.31 percent, 0.33 percent of the Manchu. Most of these consultations came from the department of internal medicine (50.49%). In terms of diagnosis, the most common was organic mental disorder (44.24%). 81.25 percent of the patients were recommended drug treatment. Most of the antipsychotics and antipsychotics were novel drugs. The general implementation rate of the medical orders of the consultations was 77.80 percent. The rate of transfer into psychiatry department was 10.36 percent. Conclusion All of clinical branches in general hospital had kinds of psychological problems. The applications of consultation - liaison psychiatry to general hospital have great value. The recognition rate of psychological disorder need to be further improved.
