From 1990s, China began to recognize the shortcomings of Traditional linear economy, and Starting to focus on recycling economy development model, then Embarked on the development of circular economy. In China, the metal industry as the Key industries of circular economy, have made great progress after so many years of practice, explore, experiment. And achieved substantial growth with Low-cost, low power, low emissions.By reading a lot of literature, collected the latest Statistical Yearbook data, analyzed and summarized the existing cases, This article Summary Status, successful approaches, problems and Corresponded Countermeasures of China’s metal industry cycle model of economic development.The text data and existing literature studies have demonstrated, the metal industry, developing circular economy is a significant strategic measure to save energy, and also a strategic measure to protect the environment, is also an important guarantee on Implementation of china’s sustainable development strategy.This paper summarized main industry features of iron and steel, copper, aluminum, lead and zinc, and then summarized these metals’Status on recycling economy mode,from the following fields:Energy conservation, waste management and recycling, eco-industrial chain, eco-industrial park. Then, compared the similarities and differences of these major metal industry’s Mode of circular economy; Gave Strategies to Metal recycling economic development issues; Finally, proposed some little advices on Recycling Economic development of China’s Metal.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is an introduction. Described Topic of this paper’s background, purpose, significance, and gave an overview of the metal industry. The second part is a literature review. Review the concepts of the metal industry research situation of circular economy, and the metal industry’s main theory of circular economy. The third part is the main part of this paper. Analyzed metal industry’s cycle economic model. First, is a detailed analysis of economic development mode on steel, copper, aluminum, lead and zinc; Second,made a comparative analysis of them. The fourth part is Strategies Research. based on the third section, find out the problems of circular economy and to analyze the corresponding countermeasures. The fifth part is a case study. In this paper, use Yunnan Copper as the objects, analyzed its Circular economy model. The sixth part is a summary and outlook.
