Abstract


The famous Harvard University psychologist Howard Gardner proposed the theory of multiple intelligences smart performance of everyone in the world is a different type of learning for each student is unique and intelligent type, the teacher based on students' intelligence to stimulate student interest type, learning style, grasp this opportunity to take full advantage of the students strong smart to learn, and to promote the development of various intelligence. I want to learn and apply the theory of multiple intelligences to solve some practical problems in English teaching, based on the understanding of the theory of multiple intelligences, and for many years engaged in the primary school English teaching practice, to explore the feasibility of the application of the theory of multiple intelligences in the Primary English Teaching, operational, to establish contacts between educational theory and practice. The study uses literature, investigation, case studies and action research method. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction. First problem I encountered in the primary school English teaching, such as primary school English teaching large class sizes, lack of individual attention, lack of efficient English classroom teaching, with the English learning content breadth and depth increase some students interest in learning is the fear of the alternative, and so on. And then put forward the theory of the study (ie, the theory of multiple intelligences) foundation and practical value. Finally, the literature review, including foreign Research and domestic Research. The second part is the interpretation of the theory of multiple intelligences, first expounded the basic meaning of the theory of multiple intelligences, and then explore the multiple intelligences theory of educational concepts, including positive and diversified development of students view the concept of \A variety of diversified evaluation concept. The third part is the research process, but also the central portion of the papers. First expounded the theory of multiple intelligences and Primary English Curriculum Design, one of which is \The second is through the theory of multiple intelligences to teach, to explore the theme of teaching under the guidance of the theory and pluralistic presentation, and then introduced the theory of multiple intelligences, Primary English Teaching intelligent based assessment and situational assessment. The fourth part is the research and analysis. First under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences multiple teaching methods and evaluation contribute to the development of students' multiple intelligences, and then use the questionnaire to test cultivate good feelings of students learning English, the last three tests with experimental classes and control classes average case analysis points and the excellent rate tables to illustrate the multiple intelligences theory, can improve the efficiency of heterogeneous English class in primary school English teaching. Fifth part of the conclusions of the author, under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences, teaching intelligent type of concern for students' study diverse teaching methods, the use of multiple teaching strategies and intelligent based assessment and situational assessment teaching activities, to solve some of the teaching practical problems, the better practice of the new curriculum reform.
