200 series stainless steel is manganese, nitrogen instead of part of nickel austenitic stainless steel , 202 stainless steel 200 series stainless steel represents one of the steels , large-scale use in the field of consumer goods . Added to the 202 stainless steel trace rare earth Ce Rare Earth influence of the microstructure and property of great significance for the sustainable socio-economic development . In this paper, microstructure , electrochemical measurements , scanning electron microscopy , energy spectrum analysis , mechanical properties testing and other methods , systematic study of Ce on the microstructure and mechanical properties of 202 stainless steel . To different corrosion cycle of Ce content of 202 stainless steel in 5% H 2 SO 4 solution and 3.5% NaCl solution electrochemical experiments , and at room temperature pull stretch experiments , the following conclusions : rare earth Ce can inhibit grain growth , grain refinement of Ce content increases in steel , steel , grain refining effect is more obvious . Of Ce added 202 stainless steel , clean grain boundaries , changing the form of the inclusions , effective control of the size and number of inclusions in steel . When the steel of Ce content is excessive , will produce a large number of rare earth inclusions reduces the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of 202 stainless steel . With the increase of the rare earth content in the steel , 202 stainless steel corrosion resistance can gradually improve , but when the rare earth content of more than 0.016% , the corrosion resistance of steel to decline , when the mass fraction of the steel of Ce 0.016% , 202 stainless steel gives the best corrosion resistance . Add the appropriate amount of Ce can effectively grain refinement , the metamorphic inclusions and purification grain boundaries , significantly improved the strength and ductility of stainless steel , 202 stainless steel , steel rare earth Ce mass fraction of 0.016% availability of the best integrated mechanical properties .
