Abstract

Steel is the basic raw material of the national economy, and the elements of composition have a major impact on the quality of the steel grades, in order to meet the actual production applications, the quality of the steel grades strictly real-time detection of different models of steel, so analytical techniques to vital, to ensure that the basic premise of steel quality and performance qualified. Some of the existing method of detection of light elements detection more difficult, some need the cumbersome pre-treatment, and some testing cycle is too long, to limit the high-speed, continuous, large-scale development of the metallurgical industry. The comparative analysis of existing steel testing instruments, the advantages and disadvantages of the method, and then propose a new method - Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, iron and steel to achieve fast, multi-element synchronization analysis provides a new way for This paper first elaborated in the course of development of the steel industry applications, application advantages, the basic principle of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (Laser-inducedbreakdownspectroscopy; LIBS). Structures on the test bench, the improvements and commonly used quantitative analysis model described in note, in preparation for the quantitative analysis of the steel. In the quantitative analysis of the process of the steel, measured parameters are the important factors that affect LIBS accurate determination, in order to obtain suitable measurement parameters for the laser energy, the focusing point to the distance from the surface of the sample, delay, etc. carried out several tests, and The affect mechanism for theoretical analysis found the ability to accurately measure the experimental conditions. In determining the appropriate measurement parameters, quantitative analysis of 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, 40Cr Mn, Cr, Si elements. Measurement precision lower Si, Mn element, respectively, using the internal standard method, a multi-element data correction method weakened due to the environmental fluctuation, and the impact of matrix effects on the determination results, to improve the measurement accuracy of the element, to achieve the precise determination purposes. In addition, the preparation of different crystal structure steel T8 steels, and experimental study of the spectral characteristics of the theory analysis. The data results show that the larger the plasma characteristic difference between the three tissues, can expand the spectral difference by increasing the laser energy and take appropriate delay, high temperature failure \Finally, the full text of the summarized on the the LIBS technology application in the field of metallurgical online analysis carried prospects vision and recommendations.
