Alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate (AESO) is a class of high temperature, salinity and multicharged ions-resistant non-ionic - anionic surfactants, particularly suitable for high temperature, high salinity and high concentration of calcium and magnesium ions oilfield EOR. The purposes of the synthesis method, there are a lot of reports, but also failed to industrial production at home and abroad. Mainly from industrialized consider inexpensive AES as raw material / sodium bisulfite, sodium sulfite mixture as a sulfonating agent, and the reaction of the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonates. Preliminary tests showed that the reaction temperature, reaction time, material ratio greater impact on the experimental results. The optimum reaction conditions were obtained by orthogonal experiment: reaction temperature of 160 ° C, the reaction time of 4h, the sulfonating agent Na2SO3 and NaHSO3 quality of than 5:1, AES sulfonating agent molar ratio of 1:3. Under this condition, the AES conversion rate reached 98.5%, the AESO in a yield of 85.5%, the AES also part hydrolysis into fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ethers. Of Texas-500 spinning drop interfacial tension to measure the interfacial tension between the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate with crude oil. In order to imitate the oilfield formation water, adding a certain amount of NaCl in the test water, MgCl2, CaCl2, measured at different temperatures, different salinity, high-priced ion concentrations, fatty alcohol poly (ethylene oxide) ether sulfonate with crude oil between interfacial tension through the interface The tension of the changes to determine alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate temperature resistance, salt resistance multicharged ions. The results show that: the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate complex with the ternary complex system with crude oil interface tension alone reach ultra-low (10-3mN / m), but alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate strong heat resistance, salt resistance, the ability of multicharged ions. Mixed with heavy alkyl benzene sulfonate (HABS), the oil-water interfacial tension can achieve ultra-low, and greatly improve the salt tolerance of HABS multicharged ions resistance. The experiments showed that: 85 ° C, NaCl content of 8%, Ca 2 Mg 2 concentration of 1000mg / L, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate and heavy alkyl mixture of benzene sulfonate complex with water interfacial tension of the ternary complex system can still achieve ultra-low instructions in high-temperature, high salinity, the high Ca 2 , Mg 2 alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate and heavy alkyl benzene sulfonate mixture under the conditions to meet the needs of EOR.
