Abstract

Purpose of femoral head necrosis is due to various reasons undermining the femoral head blood supply , further leading to bone ischemia, degeneration and necrosis of a disease. Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) is a way to stimulate the bone marrow stromal cells differentiate into cartilage cells and osteoblasts growth factors , and then through endochondral bone to repair bone defects and ultimately the formation of a certain mechanical properties of bone tissue . Salvia has blood circulation, improve the function of the femoral head microcirculation , the purpose of this experiment is to explore whether Danshen injection can enhance bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) for the repair of femoral head necrosis , can promote the femoral head revascularization procedure , improve the blood supply to the femoral head . Methods 24 adult rabbits made ??of the right femoral head necrosis model modeling were randomly divided into three groups, A group (BMP composite bone itself Salviae group), B group (BMP composite itself cancellous bone group ) , C group ( natural repair group ) . After 12 weeks of treatment through histopathology, alkaline phosphatase, osteocalcin newborn , phosphorus and other means to detect the determination of osteogenesis by immunohistochemical staining osteonecrosis vessel count per unit area and vascular cross-sectional area to detection revascularization situation . Results After 12 weeks of treatment , bone formation in group A was significantly better than the B group, C group (P <0.05), B group was better than group C (P <0.05), revascularization Case A group than in group B , C group (P <0.05), B group and C group showed no significant difference (P> 0.05). Pathological observation : A group of subchondral bone trabecular thick, widely distributed, arranged in neat rows ; B group trabecular smaller , irregular arrangement ; C group trabecular slim sparse . Immunohistochemical staining , A group of rich and capillary blood thicker , B group capillaries sparse and smaller vessels , C group no capillary zone increased significantly. Conclusion Danshen injection can increase the number of blood vessels rabbit femoral head necrosis , and promote revascularization procedures to improve blood supply to the femoral head , the joint bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) applications to increase the newborn osteocalcin , phosphorus , alkaline phosphatase increase activity, strengthen the repair of femoral head necrosis .
