Abstract


Ancient Chinese prose emphasis on reasoning and narrative,Qin Guan’s prose is no exception.Base on the tradition of "reasoning" and "narrative" of Chinese prose,I will analyze Qin Guan’s prose from the perspectives of the "rationale" and "matter".Qin Guan’s prose in the reasoning,inherited the ancient Chinese philosophy of the traditional prose,and expressed his view about the life,the death and the world.The "matter" in Qin Guan’s prose includes two parts:"Discussion" and "narrative".The discussion is about the concern of the state and the criticism of history,fastened on his 50 scheme and theory.Qin Guan’s narrative prose extensively absorbs and develops the narrative skills of the traditional prose.Qin Guan’s prose in those"rationale" and "matter" perfect fusion works,set narrative,argument,description in one,is the best works.Ancient people’s valuation on Qin Guan’s prose is very high.For example: "beauty and deep thinking","perfect matter and wise idea",but no more in-depth analysis.These two points can also be seen as evaluations on Qin Guan’s prose.Papers at the end of the chapter analyze these two characteristics, which is also the artistic characteristics of the Qin Guan’s prose
