Abstract


Guangdong as China's reform and opening up the frontier region , the processing trade has been in the nation . Processing trade in Guangdong to play a very important role in the economic development of Guangdong : processing trade to promote growth of the Guangdong Foreign Trade , and promote the growth of Guangdong 's GDP to expand the province 's employment space to promote technological transformation and upgrading of Guangdong enterprises to promote Guangdong the process of industrialization , speed up the process of urbanization . The rapid development of processing trade in Guangdong to some extent due to the abundance of cheap labor resources in Guangdong . But in recent years , government policies , the minimum wage increase, \investment in processing trade in Guangdong ; processing trade enterprises can not stand the cost of rising pressure , or closure, or transfer ; rising costs also reduce the export competitiveness of the processing trade enterprises in Guangdong . The face of the labor cost of upgrading the processing trade in Guangdong can continue to develop through the following means : transfer of industry to underdeveloped regions in Guangdong exports to domestic sales , doing their own brand , to encourage private economic development of processing trade .
