Abstract


Well known: the atomic system in the quantum coherence and interference effects can produce many interesting optical phenomena , such as coherent population capture, electromagnetically induced transparency , lasing without inversion , refractive index enhancement . These new effects on the coherence properties of optical media control , high-frequency laser generation and so has great application prospects. In these studies , are assumed small atom density, then the local field effect becomes important. However, when the atomic resonance, require a significant nonlinear existence local field is required , and the need to have a high refractive index of the material. Aaron S.Manka, Jonathan P.Dowling and Charles M.Bowden et al atoms by calculating the nonlinear response of nearly all the dipole - dipole interaction effects . They predict that in the preparation of medium coherent three-level human -based systems , there is the local field effect caused by the piezoelectric effect of the presence of light switches . The gain curve in accordance with the sensitivity of atomic density function from infinity down to infinitesimal gain without inversion to form switch. They call this process is called piezoelectric optical effects : an optical sudden instantaneous release of pressure-sensitive amplification phenomenon . In this paper we study the three-level V-type system piezoelectric optical switch phenomenon . The results showed that: In preparing the coherent medium , when the atom density value E in a huge increase in the state , it will have a density threshold , then the absorption and dispersion has a large gain. When changing the density of the threshold , such as an optical effect can be exploited in the form of the switch . We predict that after the change the gain and the refractive index at the same time a very large frequency are present.
