Abstract

In this thesis, 1,8 - dibromo- naphthalene as raw material, designed and synthesized two methods based on naphthalene U-shaped fluorescent molecules series, namely : 1,8 - diaryl naphthalene series and 1,8 - diaryl alkynyl Naphthalene series . By and 1,8 - diphenyl- naphthalene and 1,8 - diphenyl alkynyl naphthalene crystal structure compared , and hydrogen NMR, 13C NMR and mass determination , determine their structure. Through these two series of compounds a solution of the UV absorption and fluorescence emission was measured , to establish a certain based on naphthalene fluorescence QSAR . We found that three keys are connected a U-shaped molecule with a smaller Stokes red-shift and a high fluorescence quantum efficiency , we also found that a given electron U-shaped elements , which emits light having a greater solvent polarity dependence , has potential as a solvent polarity sensor applications . By in tetrahydrofuran system by adding water to form a nano- aggregates approach, we found part 1,8 - diaryl naphthalene compounds have aggregation induced fluorescence enhanced features . By spectroscopic properties and crystal structure studies , we believe that the intramolecular rotation is limited is the aggregation -induced fluorescence enhancement of the main reasons.
